What is the average cost of repair for a buzzing 32″ LCD TV?

I have a 32″ Visco LCD TV that has held up pretty well for the last two years, but now it has a loud buzzing sound that seems to come from the speakers and across all inputs. Sometimes it’s okay, but other times it’s louder than the show I’m watching. The diagnostic at this point is a bit pricey – esp if the repair going is going to end up being more expensive than the TV. So I’m wondering if anyone knows what the average cost would be to fix a problem like this.

might pay for you to disconnect the speakers and use the outputs on the audio on the back to save the repair cost.

why would you get a visco?
I have two samsungs and a sony.
    paid more, but works well.

like he said, channel the sound through a surround sound system.

It sounds like a power supply fault or even afield coil transformer winding buzz both of which could be rectified but at a price if the set is a crt type with the credit crunch the cost of a new lcd set could outweigh the cost of repair look for some bargins on line as the shops seem to be giving limited discounts at moment. It would mean you could get a set with 3 years warranty whilst if the set is repaired something else could go wrong and your back to square one
