I have a 32″ Visco LCD TV that has held up pretty well for the last two years, but now it has a loud buzzing sound that seems to come from the speakers and across all inputs. Sometimes it’s okay, but other times it’s louder than the show I’m watching. The diagnostic at this point is a bit pricey – esp if the repair going is going to end up being more expensive than the TV. So I’m wondering if anyone knows what the average cost would be to fix a problem like this.

Ok so I bought my 32″ Sony LCD 1080p 120hz tv from best buy a week or two ago for 600$. I was at Costco today and saw a 42″ Vizio LCD 1080p 120hz for 700. The only thing that I don’t know if it is the same is the contrast ratio. Anyways I do a lot of gaming and I’m thinking the 10″ is worth 100$ what do you guys think? Would there be any difference in picture/performance. I still have like 10 days to take back this Sony if I’m going to do it.
The response time on the Vizio is 5ms, having some trouble figuring out what it is on my Sony…
